Downriggers. A fishing contraption that maintains your line and bait at a certain level underwater.
Fish Finder (also Depth Finder). A type of radar integrated into the navigation system of the boat and indicates depth and location of fish.
Float. A style of lure that floats instead of sinking to the ground.
GPS. A device which can accurately determines your location.
Grand Slam. A notable angling achievement which usually consists of catching three different pre-determined fish in an area.
Graphite.Material used to make the rods because of its high resistance and flexibility.
Leaders. A strong wire or string used between a lure and the fishing line to prevent breakage or damage to line.
Outriggers. Long poles to keep trolling lines to the side.
Tippets. The last piece of line that goes between the leader and the bait.
Yosuri, Rapala, Jig, Spoon. Different kinds and makes of lures, going from hard to soft, having many sorts of shapes, sizes, weights and colors.
