If you've never had the chance to scuba dive before then take advantage of your time in Vallarta and get some professional diving lessons. You will receive an in-depth explanation followed by a practice dive in a pool. To complete yourdiving lessons in Vallarta, you can do one or two dives in the sea with your instructor and a small group. These dives will not be deeper than 50 feet.
After each dive course in Vallarta you will receive an official certification. The next step is the Open Water Certification, where you will learn the correct use of the equipment, first in a protected training area, then in open water, at a safe depth and under the supervision of a qualified instructor. This certification is a must in order to go day diving. Once certified you can join any day dive expedition in the world.
If diving ends up enthralling you, then you can continue your instruction with an Advanced Certification, which is the second level. A diver, who has previously acquired some experience in open water diving, is trained in safety details, theory and practice and this allows them to do night dives and shipwreck dives down to a depth of 80 feet. These two certifications are known as recreational sport diving.
The third level of diving lessons in Puerto Vallarta gives divers more knowledge about the physiology of diving and how to lead a group of divers, along with other related topics. From this point on there are many more specialist courses, such as the Cavern Complete Certification, Instructor Guide, Dive Master, Rescue and First Aid. |
