Get to know Hotelito Desconocido. Along the Pacific coast of Mexico, nestled between the ocean and the Sierra Madre Mountains, an enchanted paradise beckons to those with an appreciation for nature and an affinity for the unique. Hotelito Desconocido uses only solar energy for its energy needs. At night, hundreds of candles light the rooms and restaurant. Lamps light the pathways throughout the resort.
There is a meal fee per person that has to be paid at check in.
Imagine camping with luxury linens, gauzy netting draped seductively over the bed, and the romance of candles everywhere. With a symphony performed by cicadas, birds and the ocean, you'll know this is no ordinary getaway. This is definitely a place where you can truly get in touch with nature.
Available activities include hiking, windsurfing, sailing, kayaking and billiards. Activities with additional charges are birdwatching tours and hoseback riding. From June to January, participate in the sunset releases of baby sea turtles from the protected nesting area.
